Today I am gonna talk about the general topic that most of the upcoming college students have a knowledge about that term but no idea about it.Its the term named "COUNSELLING". If you wanna pursue Engineering through Government Quota,You can come through counselling.However some people book their seats before the result comes.If you are really confident about the cut off ,You can get good colleges at your choice in Round 1 or Round 2.
Counselling will have four rounds.They divide the students into 4 rounds based on the rank list. In each round, you have 3 days as the selection time .In that time, you can discuss with your parents or your career advisor and select your college.After 3 days ,You'll get temporary allotment in which you can decide whether you are satisfied to that alloted college.If you are satisfied , you'll get the permanant allotment.If you are not satisfied with your alloted college,You'll be moved to next round.After you got the Permanant allotment,you need to visit the alloted college and pay the fees mentioned in your allotment on or before the date mentioned in the allotment.After completing counselling the seat allotment will be done in between 7 to 10 days, and after there will be 10 days time to be given for admission in the college and application for secound counselling who want to change their college. These second counselling results will released in between 5 days, and the academic year of colleges will start in less than week. So generally it will take 15 to 20 days time for starting colleges.
